The Dronfield 2000 Rotary Walk The Holmesfield section

A walk within the Dronfield 2000 Rotary Walk which less able-bodied walkers will enjoy. A section specifically designed for less able people. Supported by Holmesfield Amenity Trust, and a grant from WREN waste recyling, this section runs from the church car park at Holmesfied, down through the ancient Holmesfield Park Wood to the minor road near Woodthorpe Hall. A distance of approximatly 1000 metres. Those in wheelchairs or who are differently abled may arrange for their transport to collect them at this point.

The lower end of the walk now has a level surfaced parking space where vehicles can pull in to collect people who have walked down from Holmesfield. There is also a new table with benches for anyone who would like to sit and enjoy the beauty of Holmesfield Park Wood whilst using the walk.
